Hope Gillespie
Hope Gillespie is the Kappell Coordinator of Education and Outreach at the Art Museum of WVU. Hope received her BA in Archaeology from the George Washington University and her MA in the Archaeology and Heritage of the Middle East and Egypt from University College London. During her studies, she was lucky enough to excavate at Tel Kabri in Northern Israel and complete a survey of the Temple of Seti I in Abydos, Egypt. After grad school, she spent several years at the Kamin Science Center as a Program Presenter, Assistant Manager, and Museum Experiences Officer. Gillespie has also worked off and on in formal education, specializing in Pre-K curriculum.
