Alexis Behrens

Alexis Behrens graduated from WVU with a degree in Interior Design in December 1990. Much of her career has been in healthcare and corporate design. She is currently the Director of Interior Design at the Mills Group, LLC, an architecture firm in Morgantown, West Virginia, with 4 offices around the state.

With Mills Group, Alexis has worked on designs for Discovery World, a science museum in Parkersburg, West Virginia; The Tygart Hotel renovation in Elkins, West Virginia; libraries, youth centers and various residences. 

Alexis is a lifelong volunteer who currently donates time to the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC Bridgeport Juniors) and Harrison County 4H. She also serves on the Mountaineer Area Council Executive Committee of Scouting America (formerly the Boy Scouts of America).  She is married to Bill Behrens, CPA, MPA, who is also a WVU Alum, and their children, Inez and Will, are currently WVU students in Pharmacy and Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
