Bob Silver

Bob Silver is a 1973 Theory/Comp graduate of the WVU School of Music and received his Masters in Composition from WVU in 1974. Bob was a music teacher for eight years in the Dade County, Florida, school system and served as the Music Director for the Expressive Arts Program for three years.

Bob then made a career change and worked on Wall Street for 18 years as an institutional equity block trader. He closed out his career as the Managing Director of Institutional Trading at Everen Securities in Chicago.

Bob has served on the Visiting Committee since 1997. He currently live in Denver, North Carolina, on Lake Norman.
