Matthew Connar
Matt is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in brand development, website design, and digital advertising. In August, he sold his agency BOOST Creative, which he founded over twenty years ago, and has since rebranded as Connar Enterprises to pursue new initiatives. His first venture under this new umbrella is TruLogos, where he specializes in logo design and brand development.
In addition to his design work, Matt has a passion for vintage items, antiques, and artifacts, which he buys and sells through his other new business, The Adventure Room. His specialties are Polynesian, Tribal, Mid-century Modern and Atomic Age items.
He is also in the process of rekindling his involvement with fine art. He plans to create and start selling Tiki and Retro artwork in 2025.
Additionally, Matt is actively engaged in his local Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Board of Directors and the Education Committee. He is also a former Board Member of the Gulf Coast Symphony. In 2013, he co-founded Taste of the Cape, which is a collaborative, fundraising effort for both organizations.
Matt has remained involved with West Virginia University, originally coming back as part of the Alumni In Residence program, then serving on the former College of Creative Arts Visiting Committee since 2016, and connecting with students through the Creative Consultant Professional Mentorship Program since its inception. He currently resides in Cape Coral, Florida with his wife and four children.
