Eric Minor

Eric Minor is a longtime news anchor and former career coach. After graduating WVU in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Eric joined the staff of WBOY-TV as a weekend anchor and reporter. In 1996, Eric moved to WTOV, the NBC affiliate in the Steubenville, Ohio/Wheeling, WV market. Eric started as a weekend anchor/reporter and would work his way up to primary anchor and managing editor over the course of a 17-year career. During his final years at WTOV, Eric freelanced as a weekend reporter at WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh. In 2014, Eric completed a master’s in integrated marketing communications. Eric and his family moved back to Morgantown, where he worked for almost 10 years at WVU teaching journalism and coaching students on their careers.  Never having fully lost the drive to work in local news, Eric rejoined the WBOY staff in 2023 as a news anchor.
