Valerie Canady Charitable Trust Foundation Scholarship

Dr. and Mrs. William J. Canady established The Valerie Canady Charitable Trust Foundation in memory of their daughter, Valerie, for students in Music, Art, Theatre or Dance who are verbally fluent in a second language or actively engaged in obtaining this ability.

There are plenty of opportunities to express yourself at the College of Creative Arts and Media, some of which are open to all university students regardless of major.

Music Ensembles

Student performing groups offered through the School of Music include a wide range of opportunities in a variety of musical traditions and styles from bands to African music and dance. The student and community performing groups are open to all qualified WVU students by audition.

Fine Arts Clubs

The School of Art & Design encourages community and exhibition opportunities through the Juried Student Exhibition, Art History Club, Disegno Italia, Ceramics Clay Club, Printmaking Club, and the WVU Preservice Student Chapter of NAEA.
