Kelley Galbreath is a graphic designer who specializes in projects that involve paper, pages, and type. She began her career at Viking Children’s Books, before moving along to a senior design position at Design Army in DC, and then serving as the art director and designer of Morgantown and WV Focus magazines at New South media. Amidst those moves, she earned an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. For the past ten years, Kelley has run her own studio, Galbreath Design, where she focuses on book design, but has turned her hand to everything from websites, to posters, and even the occasional illustration. Current and past clients include Chronicle Books, Timber Press, Quarto Books, Rizzoli Books, UVA Press, Johns Hopkins University Press, Penn State University Press, and the ’62 Center for Theatre & Dance at Williams College, and her work has been recognized by the AIGA, Communication Arts, the One Show, and the ADDYs.
