Internship Alliance

The CCAM Internship Alliance partners with organizations throughout our region to provide paid internship positions for College of Creative Arts and Media students.

2024 Partners

Through a competitive application process, CCAM students begin their professional work immediately, gaining real-world experience in paid internship positions with Internship Alliance partners.

How to Apply

Positions in the CCAM Internship Alliance are open to all WVU College of Creative Arts and Media students. The applications for Summer 2025 internship positions will be due in February 2025. The College nominates a select number of student applicants to be considered for the internship positions. The final hiring decision is made by each individual organization. Submit a separate application for each internship you are interested in applying for and be sure to tailor your application PDF to the specific internship.

Apply Online

Each application must include the following in a pdf document (LastName_FirstName.pdf):

  • Cover Letter. The cover letter should describe your relevant experience, performances, presentations, exhibitions, and/or coursework. Use your cover letter to explain why you are a great fit for the particular internship you are applying for.
  • Resumé.
  • A list of relevant courses taken. Please list the instructor and describe how the course is relevant.

Eligibility

Current WVU College of Creative Arts and Media majors, undergraduate and graduate students from any class year, are eligible to apply for summer internships.

Students will be notified of their Internship Alliance nomination status by Mid-March. Finalists' applications packets will be forwarded to the respective organizations. The organizations will contact those students directly with any requests for additional information and employment decisions.
