
Brittany Blair
Brittany Blair is Instructor of Harp and Music Theory at West Virginia University. A passionate educator, she maintains an active private studio of piano and harp students of all ages and spends her summers on faculty at Interlochen Arts Camp, working with young harpists from around the country. Blair also teaches group piano classes through WVU’s Community Music Program, and is an Instructor of harp and piano at The Music Note in Ben Avon, PA. She has served as Harp Mentor for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s Civic Youth Ensembles and Instructor of Piano at Expressions Music Academy in metro Detroit.
In addition to teaching, Blair regularly performs with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, Butler Symphony Orchestra, Washington Symphony Orchestra, and Resonance Works. She currently serves as president of the Morgantown, WV chapter of the American Harp Society.
Blair received her Master’s degree in Harp Performance from the University of Michigan’s School of Music Theater and Dance. She also holds degrees from West Virginia University in Harp Performance and Piano Performance, with an Area of Emphasis in Pedagogy.
