Sr. Global Brand Manager, Cotopaxi

Carie Behe is an accomplished marketing professional, passionate traveler, and outdoor enthusiast with over 15 years of experience crafting global brand campaigns, public relations, and go-to-market strategies for top names in the outdoor and footwear industries.

From her early days winning a marketing internship with KEEN Footwear to her most recent role at Cotopaxi a fast-growing, impact-driven adventure lifestyle brand, Behe’s journey in the outdoor industry has been defined by her knack for building impactful partnerships, and creating engaging, emotion-evoking campaigns.

At Cotopaxi, she pioneered the brand's first go-to-market process and led buzz-worthy product collaborations with powerhouse brands like HOKA, Teva, Bombas, and Headspace.

Working for KEEN engrained a tremendous sense of purpose in her work: that we should do what we’re doing for the greater good. To protect the places we play, to help and inspire more people get outside who may not have access, or to help those in need. To use a brand’s dollars and voice to amplify a great cause and to make a real difference.

Behe is a two-time graduate of WVU, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2008 and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications in 2016. She resides in Portland, Oregon, where she spends her free time snowboarding on Mount Hood and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her pup, Tilly.
