Charlie Scott
Charlie Scott is an artist, fabricator, and a West Virginia native. He received his MFA in Sculpture from Southern Illinois University and his BFA in Graphic Design from WVU. His work explores the valley between the mundane and magical. He makes sculptural assemblages that pair commonplace materials like plywood and plastics with historical materials such as cast bronze and iron. Since 2018, he has served as Adjunct Professor for the School of Art and Design, and has taught courses from Foundations, Graphic Design, and Interior Design.
