Cindy Hart
Cindy Hart supports the College’s online master’s degrees in Data Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing Communications, Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC), Game Design, and Music Business and Industry, as well as graduate certificate programs/specializations in Creative Strategy, Data Marketing Communications, Digital and Social Media, Healthcare Communications, Higher Education Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications and Public Relations Leadership. She also supports the College’s undergraduate online courses/program, including a bachelor's degree program in Integrated Marketing Communications and minors in Advertising, Entertainment Media, Event Planning, Health Promotion, Journalism, Public Relations, Sport Communication and Strategic Social Media.
Hart brings a wealth of experience in curriculum development that incorporates sound instructional design principles and Quality Matters (QM) standards, creating a seamless learning experience that equips students for success.
She serves as a bridge between instructors and the institution, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to deliver engaging, industry-relevant courses. By fostering close collaboration between instructors, subject matter experts, and instructional designers, she ensures that the online learning experience is both innovative and impactful for students.
With a passion for educational excellence and a results-driven approach to program growth, Hart continues to shape the future of online learning at West Virginia University, meeting the needs of today’s students and preparing them for tomorrow’s challenges.
Before joining the College of Creative Arts and Media, Hart spent 26 years at WVU Online, where she held various positions.
Hart holds a Master of Arts in Technology Education from West Virginia University and is a graduate of Leadership West Virginia.
