David Sladack

David Sladack is the president and co-principal at BLD Marketing, a leading national building and construction marketing agency in the south suburbs of Pittsburgh. His role at BLD is to oversee the overall agency business, lead all client strategic initiatives, and serve as the primary new business “rainmaker.” Additionally, Sladack assumes the duties of chief marketing officer (CMO), where he writes thought leadership blogs and manages all agency marketing activity.

Sladack brings 30 years of marketing experience having worked at many ad agencies on many well-known brands in a variety of industries. His experience includes marketing brands like Ford Motor Company, Cub Cadet, Zippo, GSK (Sensodyne, Aquafresh, Tums), 84 Lumber, Nichiha, PPG, and Owens Corning. He has built his career in agency account management and marketing strategy, along with a consistent pursuit of agency new business initiatives.

Sladack has been an adjunct professor of marketing since 1999, teaching a variety of MBA and undergraduate marketing courses at Robert Morris University and Point Park University.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing from Gannon University and an MBA from Robert Morris University.

Sladack is a Pittsburgh native who resides in Belle Vernon, PA with his wife and daughter – a young, aspiring figure skater.
