
Elizabeth Oppe
Elizabeth Oppe, Ph.D., is a West Virginia native and a WVU alumna. She joined the College of Creative Arts and Media's faculty in Fall 2011, and is a teaching professor in the public relations program.
In addition to teaching courses in public relations, Oppe developed and taught Communications and Public Relations for Executives for the Master of Business Administration online program offered through the WVU College of Business and Economics. In addition, she has conducted and supervised the Media Training Seminar in the John Chambers Elite Program for collegiate athletes.
Se has taught courses in business, public relations and communications, as well graduate courses in change and innovation. Oppe also worked for a short time as a sideline reporter for CBS College Sports.
Oppe earned her Ph.D. in instructional and organizational communication from Ohio University. One of her research areas focuses on service learning, which combines her background in business and education with community service.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Glenville State College and her master’s degree in business administration from WVU. She recently graduated top of her class from the Preston Robert Tisch Institute for Global Sports Program at New York University.
