Cole is a Teaching Associate Professor for the Game Design and Interactive Media (GDIM) program offered by the School of Art and Design, within the College of Creative Arts and Media at West Virginia University. 

She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree at Goddard College in Vermont and finished undergraduate studies as well as K-12 art teaching certification at Penn West Edinboro. 

She is also the founder and director of MonRiverGames, our local non profit community game studio, dedicated to providing support for GDIM students and local professionals. They create games together in a large group environment, hold professional development events and showcases, and travel to game industry conferences and events. 

As part of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA), she is part of core leadership of both the Game Education SIG and the West Virginia Professional Chapter.
