Jad-Evangelo Nasser
Jad-Évangelo Nasser was born and raised in Lebanon and has worked in the Middle East, North African, and North American markets. Nasser brings 8+ years of experience as a global and multicultural-focused media/communications professional with expertise in creative marketing strategies, client relationship management, and strategic communications with international agencies such as BBDO, Wunderman Thompson, McCann Worldgroup, TBWA\Chiat\Day, and Transperfect Translations.
Some of the notable clients he has worked with were Jack Daniel's, McDonald's, Pepsi, Byblos Bank, and Lulu Lemon. Additionally, he was also part of the award-winning creative team at the Dubai Lynx Award during his time at Wunderman Thompson in the Middle East. Nasser speaks five languages (English, Arabic, French, Spanish and Haitian Creole) and is currently a multicultural strategist, educator, and storyteller working for multiple agencies, organizations, and academic institutions. He brings multi-disciplinary experience focusing on inclusion, intersectional experiences, and cross-cultural communication.
Currently, Nasser teaches at City Tech (City University Of New York), Post University, University of North Texas, and West Virginia University as well as brings his industry expertise as an account director. Nasser has experience with A/B Partners a social justice-focused ad agency and publishes learning material with The Diversity Movement on inclusive language in the workplace and marketing communications.
Nasser has also appeared on panels that he co-organized and co-hosted himself with 100 Roses From Concrete (a 501(c) nonprofit focused on empowering professionals of color in the media industry by addressing thought-leading topics in today's inclusive-oriented climate such as The Arab American Experience in The Workplace, the narrative of queer-identifying professionals and the need of having Black women in leadership positions in the media industry.
Aside from organizing panels, workshops, discussions, and programs in the diversity, equity, and inclusion field, Nasser has been featured on the panel Breaking into Higher Education with the American Society of Journalists and Authors.
Nasser holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Notre Dame University in Beirut Lebanon, a Master of Arts in Media Studies from The New School (Parsons), New York City, and a graduate certificate in Media Management from The New School (Public Engagement), New York City.
