Josh Wilson is an award-winning marketing executive with more than 15 years of experience in data-driven strategy, brand development, and member engagement within the financial services industry. He currently serves as senior vice president of marketing at Whitefish Credit Union, Montana’s largest credit union, where he leads enterprise-level marketing strategy and oversees campaigns recognized at the highest levels of the profession.

Wilson’s work emphasizes the intersection of analytics and storytelling—translating member insights into compelling campaigns that build trust, deepen loyalty, and drive measurable growth. In 2024, he led a commercial storytelling campaign that received a Northwest Regional Emmy Award, further adding to an extensive collection of industry honors.

In 2019, he received the CUNA Diamond Award – Best of Show, the highest recognition in credit union marketing. He’s also a two-time MACQUEE Best of Show Award recipient from the Marketing Association of Credit Unions. Wilson is national chair of the Marketing, PR & Development Council for America’s Credit Unions and a frequent national presenter on digital, data-driven, and financial services marketing trends.

In addition to his executive role, Wilson is an adjunct instructor in the West Virginia University Data and Digital Marketing Communications graduate programs, where he mentors emerging professionals in strategic marketing, analytics, and creative leadership.

Across his work as both a practitioner and educator, Wilson is known for fostering innovation, elevating creative collaboration, and inspiring students and teams to exceed expectations. He believes that “the baseline isn’t the goal—it’s the starting line,” a philosophy reflected in his commitment to pushing boundaries and telling stories that create meaningful impact in the communities he serves.
