Kaden Jacobs is a seasoned public relations and strategic communications leader. He brings nearly 15 years of practitioners' expertise to graduate education, teaching students to move from theoretical frameworks to real-world problem-solving.

Throughout his career, Jacobs has built expertise across government, healthcare, education, and agency settings. He has successfully managed communications during significant crises, navigated sensitive organizational challenges, and secured media coverage in premier national outlets. His communications approach centers on translating complex issues into clear, understandable messaging and aligning communication plans with measurable organizational goals.

In-house roles involved overseeing communications for a multi-billion-dollar national security project, a major healthcare facility, and a 34,000-student school system, while his agency experience includes leading crisis initiatives, campaign execution, and client retention strategies at the vice president level. He is a long-time executive committee member and past board chair of RISE Augusta, a literacy non-profit supporting youth in the Augusta, Georgia area. Before his career in public relations, he was a decorated sailor in the United States Navy.

Jacobs is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), where he was named a “40 Under 40” honoree by the PRSA Georgia chapter in 2020. He received the Marie Wofford Professional Growth Award from the Georgia School Public Relations Association (GSPRA) in 2019. He was named a “Top 10 in 10 Young Professional to Watch” by Augusta Magazine in 2015 and one of Georgia Trend’s “40 Under 40” honorees in 2017. 

Jacobs holds a Master of Science in Communications and Public Relations from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from the University of Louisville. He earned his Accreditation in Public Relations from PRSA in 2019 and is a graduate of Leadership Augusta, Leadership Columbia County, and the Harvard Institute for Superintendents and District Leaders. He lives in Augusta, Georgia with his wife, Eleanor, and their son.
