Kelley Carroll
Kelley Carroll, MBA is a results-driven marketing leader with a proven track record in strategic relationships, global product launches and collaborative partnerships with creative teams and agencies. She is adept at working cross-functionally in corporations, start-ups and entrepreneurial environments.
Carroll has a background in interactive entertainment, technology, retail and entrepreneurial ventures. She has experience working with many well-known entertainment brands including, but not limited to, WWE Wrestling, Rock Band, The Simpsons, Pac-Man, Tekken, DTS Audio and EA Sports titles - Madden NFL, Tiger Woods Golf and FIFA. Additionally, Carroll was the marketing and branding lead for a wellness concept being developed in Southern California where she was tasked with intensive market research, competitive analysis, brand identity development, market segmentation, audience targeting and brand positioning. Along with her marketing and branding background, design has always been an integral part of her focus. From working with website designers, video game producers and artists, to architects and interior designers, she understands the importance of design in product and brand development.
Carroll started teaching 12 years ago at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, where she earned her MBA. As an adjunct faculty member she has had the opportunity to teach in most of the business school’s programs: Fully Employed MBA, Full Time MBA, Masters in Global Business and Online MBA Programs, and has taught many marketing based courses including their strategic Marketing Management class, Global Branding, Brand Management, Digital Marketing Communications, Contemporary Issues in Business and Management. Carroll was also a case writer in Pepperdine’s Education-to-Business (E2B) program where she worked with business clients to develop real-world case studies used in many of the school’s marketing classes.
She was recognized by Pepperdine for her teaching in 2021 and was presented with an Outstanding Supporting Faculty Teaching Award.
Carroll has also taught at California Lutheran University’s School of Management where she earned her B.A. in Business Administration.
Currently, she is teaching Direct & Digital Marketing at Pepperdine University’s Seaver College, where she has previously taught in the IMC Program at the Center for Communication and Business.
Along with her professional and teaching careers, Carroll is a board member of a nonprofit in Los Angeles, California. ACW is a treatment center that has been focusing on women’s recovery for over five decades. Carroll collaborates with the agency’s Executive Director regarding marketing, branding and social media initiatives. Recently, she spearheaded a web-redesign project with a design agency while mentoring staff on the importance of branding and marketing in the nonprofit sector.
While spending most of her life in Southern California, Carroll currently resides in Pittsburgh, PA.
