Kirsten McAlpin is the director of marketing and public relations for Conger LP Gas, Inc., a propane marketer that serves over 40 counties in Georgia. She oversees strategic media planning and buying, coordinates and executes events, designs and produces advertisements, writes and distributes press releases, manages and creates content for Conger's online presence, and so much more. McAlpin is most proud of being the company’s head storyteller and having the privilege of sharing Conger LP Gas, its products, and its employees with the world.

An award-winning former singer/songwriter turned radio personality, McAlpin is also an afternoon on-air personality with iHeartMedia on B100 WOBB in Albany, Georgia, and has previously been on-air in Atlanta on 94.9 The Bull, South 106.1 in Columbus and 107.5 WTIF in Tifton. She has also worked in local government marketing and public relations.

McAlpin has a heart for volunteering and serves in leadership roles in various organizations in her community and around the nation. She serves as the National Propane Gas Association's “Women in Propane Council” communications and marketing chair and the “Women in Propane” ambassador to the Southeast Propane Alliance. She is the president of the Tifton Merchants Association. She is also a member of the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce board of directors and an ambassador for the Tifton-Tift County and the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chambers of Commerce.

She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Communication at Liberty University and holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University with an emphasis in public relations leadership from West Virginia University.
