LaShanta Green is the director of marketing and community relations at Dow Credit Union. Her recognized successes include ideating and implementing measurable and meaningful change.

As the head of marketing, she has made it her mission to incorporate strategy and storytelling to engage constituents, colleagues, members, and the community in a clear, compelling way. Green’s recent accomplishments include leading the reimagining of the credit union's brand.

Green earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Marketing and a certificate in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Texas A&M University. She also graduated with a Strategic MBA with concentrations in Leadership and Economic Development from the University of Houston-Victoria.

Green has been honored with prestigious awards, such as the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Rising Star Award. Her dedication to the field is further demonstrated by being elected to serve on the Marketing & Business Development Executive Committee for CUNA.

Green enjoys providing leadership and strategic counsel in community-based roles, specifically initiatives that have an impact on community members' health, wealth, and well-being. Before her role at the largest credit union headquartered in the Great Lakes Bay Region, Green worked in higher education administration and ran her own consultancy, serving non-profit organizations and small businesses.

Green is a Texas native and moved to Midland, Michigan, in June 2021.
