Mark Fragale

Director, Live Broadcast/RIT Sports Network
Teaches Digital Video Production

Mark Fragale is an award-winning video producer with over two decades of experience in college video production at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Before joining RIT, he spent more than 10 years in Los Angeles working as a camera operator and director of photography in the film and television industry.

At RIT, Fragale produces a wide range of content for the RIT Sports Network program, including live sports broadcasts, short-form videos for the university’s website, and streamed projects on platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, and Ustream. He also owns and operates Chautauqua Productions, LLC, and continues to produce, direct, and crew local television programming and streaming content for Spectrum Cable.

Fragale earned a BFA in Visual Arts from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts. After graduation, he began his career in the New York City film industry before relocating to Los Angeles.

Over the course of his career, Fragale has contributed to projects ranging from high-budget feature films to student-led productions, consistently bringing strong television and video production expertise to every project. He is especially committed to mentoring college students and takes pride in preparing the next generation of video professionals to create engaging, well-crafted content for television and online platforms.

Fragale lives with his family in Rochester, New York.
