Neal Stewart
Neal Stewart is a veteran marketing leader, brand builder, and educator known for transforming consumer brands into cultural moments. With more than two decades shaping some of America’s most beloved CPG companies, including Yuengling Beer, Dan-O’s Seasoning, Pabst Brewing, Dogfish Head, and Deschutes Brewery, Stewart has built a reputation for driving growth through sharp consumer insight, creative risk-taking, and modern go-to-market strategy.
As director of field marketing at The Yuengling Company, Stewart leads marketing across 10 states, orchestrating high-impact initiatives ranging from major sports partnerships and statewide media plans to experiential activations and distributor-led retail programming. His work blends analytical rigor with a storyteller’s instinct, delivering campaigns that are strategic, efficient, and plugged directly into culture. Whether he’s launching new markets like Texas, Iowa, and Wisconsin, scaling FLIGHT’s “Next Generation of Country Music” platform, or converting limited budgets into maximum “Yuengling is everywhere” energy, Stewart’s leadership is defined by clarity, creativity, and momentum.
Beyond his brand work, Stewart serves as an adjunct professor for the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts & Media, where he teaches Social Media and Marketing within the IMC graduate program. His students know him for his humor, real-world honesty, and the way he merges academic rigor with the realities of modern marketing. He’s committed to helping the next generation of marketers pair smart strategy with cultural relevance.
A builder at heart, Stewart is also developing operational systems and SOPs that strengthen marketing organizations from the inside out, bringing process, transparency, and accountability to teams that need structure but still want room to create. His leadership style is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and a belief that great marketing cultures are both high-performing and genuinely fun.
When he’s not teaching or building brands, Stewart can be found crafting his own social media content, mentoring rising marketers, working on passion projects from nonprofits to product concepts, and occasionally turning a good joke into a great marketing idea.
Stewart lives in Simpsonville, Kentucky with his family, grounding his work in curiosity, creativity, and a relentless drive to build what’s next.
