Spring 2026
Two blocks will be available during the spring 2026 semester. Block 1, which runs February 7 - March 8, includes Take the Stage! (ages 8–12) and The Actor’s Toolkit (ages 13–17). The Block 2 course, which runs April 11 - May 9, is Lights, Camera, Action! (all ages).
Register for Block 1The WVU Youth Acting Academy offers high-quality theatre training for kids and teens in a supportive, creative environment. Led by WVU Theatre & Dance faculty with support from WVU theatre students, our programs are designed to build confidence, creativity, collaboration, and performance skills—whether your child is brand new to acting or eager to grow their experience.
Kids: ages 8–12
Teens: ages 13–17
*No prior theatre experience required
Day: Saturdays
Time: 10:30am – 12:00pm
Location: Canady Creative Arts Center
