Lights, Camera, Action!
Lights, Camera, Action! introduces young performers to acting for the screen through on-camera exercises, acting training specifically for film, TV and commercials, and the filming of a project created during the program, which will be showcased on the big screen!Students will explore how performance changes on camera, including working within the frame, hitting marks, responding naturally in close-up, and developing characters for filmed scenes.
The program is led by Professor Acacia Daken and supported by trained WVU Theatre
& Dance students.
*There is a discounted rate of $200 for students returning from Block 1 of our Spring
Stage & Screen Series.
The program includes two groups: ages 8–12 and ages 13–17.
