J.Ford Huffman
J. Ford Huffman has advised Dubai’s Gulf News, India’s Hindustan Times, San Francisco Chronicle, The Washington Post and Las Vegas Review-Journal. He designed the prototype editions of USA TODAY, where later he was a deputy managing editor. He has trained journalists across the U.S. and in Budapest, Warsaw, Prague, Halifax and San Jose (Costa Rica.). A magna cum laude graduate at WVU, he was managing editor of the Daily Athenaeum, member of Mountain honorary and Kappa Tau Alpha national journalism honorary, Outstanding Journalism Graduate at Reed (School of Media), and he interned at Wheeling News-Register. He is immediate past board chair of Student Veterans of America, co-edited a Library Journal “notable” book (Marine Corps University Press’ “The End of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”) and has reviewed books for Military Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Chicago Tribune and others. He has completed 48 marathon races, and his art has been exhibited in Washington, D.C., galleries including the Watergate.
