Zach Peaslee

Orchestral Ensemble Coordinator
The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University

A passionate advocate for the arts, Zach Peaslee is a conductor, singer, trumpeter, and arts administrator based in Baltimore, Maryland. Zach is currently the Ensemble Coordinator for Orchestras at the Peabody Institute, conducting apprentice with the Handel Choir of Baltimore, and tenor section leader at the Catholic Community of South Baltimore Parish. Prior to his appointment at Peabody, Zach was the Operations Manager for The American Pops Orchestra in Washington, D.C. Skilled in both teaching and performing, Zach holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from West Virginia University, and Master’s Degrees in Trumpet Performance and Conducting from Ohio University. While completing his Master’s Degrees, Zach was a graduate assistant for the Ohio University Trumpet Studio and Band Department where he taught undergraduate trumpet lessons and brass methods. He also performed with OhioBrass, the faculty brass quintet, and regularly conducted the Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band.
