Student Professional Development Grants

These grants support activities that lead to professional development for full-time students who are active majors in the College of Creative Arts and Media.

Valerie Canady Charitable Trust Foundation Scholarship

Dr. and Mrs. William J. Canady established The Valerie Canady Charitable Trust Foundation in memory of their daughter, Valerie, for students in Music, Art, Theatre or Dance who are verbally fluent in a second language or actively engaged in obtaining this ability.

Graduate Tuition Waivers

In conjunction with the WVU Office of Graduate Education and Life, the CCAM provides University Graduate Tuition Waivers on a competitive and limited basis to enhance the effectiveness of its graduate programs.

Showcase your research and creative activity in this annual juried awards competition.

GPS Award

The School of Art and Design believes in the power of place based learning and has established an annual award competition to fund outstanding students who are interested in taking a Global Positioning Studies course.

Student Enhancement Scholarships

Students in the Reed School of Media and Communications may apply for Student Enhancement Scholarships to help defray costs associated with experiential learning opportunities (study abroad, internships, conferences, workshops, etc.).

Freshman Scholarships

First-time freshmen who meet certain criteria will automatically be awarded scholarship funding from WVU. Students may also have the opportunity to receive additional funds based on portfolio reviews or auditions.
