The marketing and communications office at the College of Creative Arts and Media is dedicated to furthering recruitment and development initiatives. We approach communications strategically to elevate our units, the College and the University.
How can we help you?
The CCAM Marketing and Communications team uses a variety of media platforms and strategies to disseminate information based on the target audiences. The plan for a specific project is determined by the Director of Marketing and Communications in consult with the person making the request and with approval from the school directors and/or dean as needed. These include:
- Social Media: The College has accounts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Additionally, our team supports accounts for each school and the Art Museum.
- Websites, including design, accessibility monitoring, search engine optimization and branding for:
- creativeartsandmedia.wvu.edu, which includes content for all four schools at their respective URLs: artanddesign.wvu.edu, mediaandcommunications.wvu.edu, music.wvu.edu, theatre.wvu.edu and dance.wvu.edu
- artmuseum.wvu.edu, the Art Museum of WVU
- bands.wvu.edu, home for School of Music bands and ensembles
- marketingcommunications.wvu.edu, Marketing Communications online programs
- Press/News Releases are distributed in a variety of ways, including:
- Collaboration with central WVU news team
- E-News (sent to all WVU faculty and staff)
- U-News (sent to all students)
- News feeds on the College website
- Social Media
- Local and Regional Media Outlets (print, broadcast, digital and radio)
- Calendars, including:
- WVU calendar
- Box Office calendar
- City of Morgantown, Mountaineer CountryCVB and Morgantown Area Partnership
- Paid Advertising, including social media, Google search and regional media (Dominion Post, WV Public Broadcasting, etc.)
- Graphic Design, including print and digital design
- Photography and Video Creation
Share Event Information
Hosting an event? Let us know and we can share it with targeted audiences on the WVU Calendar, through e-communications, social media or all of the above. Submissions to this form are shared with CCAM Production and Facilities to ensure all teams are using the same information for ticketing.
If you complete this form, you do not need to complete an additional form for marketing and communications services. Please use this form if you need to modify an existing event, also.
