WVU’s Film Club is a creative community that encourages interest and enthusiasm in all aspects of film, from the craft to consumption and everything in-between. This group is the closest thing to a production company on campus; ensuring members have access to all the people and equipment needed to bring creative projects to life.

Mirage Magazine is a student-run lifestyle and fashion publication, started by students in the WVU Reed College of Media through the former organization Ed On Campus. The team publishes a new magazine issue each semester centered around a theme. At the end of each semester, the organization holds a release party to celebrate the new issue and hosts a panel on a topic that impacts the Appalachian community.

MonRiverGames is a game development community studio dedicated to providing enriching and professional experiences within game design and the arts for its members. Students build relationships with each other and the greater game dev community. The games they develop are generally "just for fun's sake," but some are more serious. MonRiverGames students have the opportunity to travel to cons and other game related events.

The preservice student chapter of NAEA is a student organization that contributes resources to students who wish to become art educators and are interested in all aspects of art education. Supported by both of the national organization and the state West Virginia art education association, participants meet monthly to create art projects, engage in fundraisers and social activities.
