The CCAM Faculty/Staff Professional Development Grant program was created to support activities that lead to professional development and community engagement for faculty/staff in the College of Creative Arts and Media.
CCAM faculty applying for support of professional development for non-juried activities (ie. attending a conference or workshop) are eligible for one $350 award during the 2025-26 academic year, as funding remains available. Applications will be assessed on the activity's significance; faculty rank (with priority given to those in early career ranks); expected outcomes; and historically positive outcomes. Staff are eligible for the Professional Development Grant on a case-by-case basis.
Applications should be submitted a minimum of four weeks in advance of the activity. There are five application deadlines throughout the academic year: Sept. 1; Oct. 1; Nov. 1; Jan. 15; and March 15, with award notices made shortly thereafter, subject to availability of funding.
Faculty/Staff applying for funding to support a juried/invited/accepted presentation or performance should apply for a CCAM Faculty Research and Creative Activity Grant ($500/$750).
Only one application for a CCAM Faculty/Staff Professional Grant will be funded for any individual during a given academic year.
