Josey Miller is about to begin rehearsals for Perfect Mate at the Pittsburgh CLO where she will be originating the role of Susan. Perfect Mate is the world premiere of a new musical commissioned by the Pittsburgh CLO written by Dan Lipton and David Rossmer (Monopoly, Rated P for Parenthood, Don't Quit Your Night Job), directed by Carolyn Cantor (Playwrights Horizons, Williamstown Theatre Festival, MCC, Manhattan Theatre Club, Old Globe), music direction by Greg Anthony Rassen (Broadway: Bandstand; Drama Desk Winner; Tony Nominee, The Little Mermaid, The Book of Mormon, Cinderella) and choreographed by Whitney G-Bowley (MUNY, New York Theatre Workshop, New York City Center Encores!, Roundabout, Goodspeed). The Pittsburgh CLO is one of the nations premier regional theaters, a founding member of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre, The Broadway League, and frequently showcases local, Broadway, and Hollywood talent. In 2012, the Pittsburgh CLO originated the Broadway musical An American in Paris which went on to receive 12 Tony Nominations. Josey will be performing along Broadway and TV performers Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods; TV, Legally Blonde; Broadway, Something Rotten!; 1st Nat'l Tour, Little Women; 1st Nat'l Tour) and Jimmy Nicholas (Chicago Fire, The Good Wife; TV, Book of Mormon; Broadway) as well as local Pittsburgh talent. Some notable CLO Alumni include Billy Porter, Bernadette Peters, Sutton Foster, Clay Aiken, Paige Davis, Norm Lewis, Michael Cerveris, Carolee Carmello, and Isabelle McCalla.
