The WVU Percussion Academy is typically held in June and reflects the extensive percussion offerings of the WVU percussion department: orchestral percussion, marching percussion, drum set, world music, electronic music, and other various musical styles. Students will receive individual lessons, participate in percussion ensemble rehearsals, and have performance opportunities during the week-long event.
This academy is for beginning level to advanced percussion students. Students will experience clinics and workshops by WVU percussion faculty and guest artists.
