Ready to Apply? New Grad Student InformationThe WVU School of Music offers rigorous masters and doctoral degree programs that will prepare you for a fulfilling career in music.
You'll engage with faculty who use their wealth of experience as world-class performers, educators and scholars to provide insightful instruction, and you'll have myriad performance opportunities in venues ranging from intimate recital spaces to large concert theaters.
Prospective graduate students in music are required to have completed the appropriate undergraduate degree in music at an accredited institution. Priority deadline for assistantship consideration is March 1; the final application deadline is July 1.

STEP ONE:
Follow the instructions for applying to WVU according to your needs: as a first-time applicant, a second-degree applicant, a non-degree applicant or an international applicant. Your application will include a $60 application fee. The priority deadline for assistantship consideration is March 1; the final application deadline is July 1.

Learn, rehearse, collaborate and perform in a variety of studios and concert theatres in the Canady Creative Arts Center.
The Clay Concert Theatre is used by the College of Creative Arts as well as WVU's Arts and Entertainment series. As the largest venue in the CCAC, it hosts music concerts, musical theatre performances, dance performances, and of course, graduations.
