The newest single from regional artist Lauren Winans — “Meet Up Spot” — is now available on all streaming platforms. It is the third single from her EP “The Truth Will Set You Free,” a collaboration between Winans and the University’s Music Business and Industry Program.
“This is a really fun song. During the recording process, it gave me the vibe of a cross between country Deana Carter’s ‘Strawberry Wine’ and 90s rock, a bit more uptempo with a similar story idea. I thought it was a nice twist.” - Joshua Swiger, faculty and project producer.
Winans is a native of Buckhannon, a mother of two, an advocate for abused women and an active member of her church.
