Morgantown Community Band

For high and collegiate students, adults and seniors

The Morgantown Community Band (MCB) is a new wind band ensemble of the Community Music Program at West Virginia University.

Membership for the MCB is open to anyone with a passion for wind band music. This includes high school band students, collegiate students, adults and senior citizens throughout the greater-Morgantown community or other counties of the state. The band welcomes intermediate and advanced level players who wish to share and develop their artistic talents in a compassionate atmosphere focused on making music within a growing community. There is no audition for becoming a member of the MCB. The repertoire is carefully chosen to accommodate the ensemble’s need for music with a wide range of styles and difficulty.
