Celebrate the holiday season with WVU Choirs

WVU Choirs performing with Santa hats in Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre

Celebrate the holiday season with a concert and sing-along performed by WVU Choirs on Saturday, December 14, at the Canady Creative Arts Center (CCAC).

“A Winter Gala” will feature the Mountaineer Chorus, Mountaineer Singers, Chamber Singers, and the WVU Community Choir performing holiday favorites. Audience members are invited to sing along to traditional carols and modern hits from “Joy to the World” to Pentatonix’s “White Winter Hymnal.”

“There will be something for everyone,” said Kym Scott, director of choral activities at West Virginia University. “Whether you are celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, or just the holiday season, join us to celebrate this wonderful time of year.”

The family-friendly performance begins at 2 p.m. in the CCAC’s Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre. General admission is $10, with child and senior tickets available for $5. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit https://go.wvu.edu/ccam-tickets or call 304-293-TKTS (8587).
