West Virginia University announced that the new college that merges the College of Creative Arts (CCA), the Reed College of Media and three programs from the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design – Design Studies; Fashion, Dress and Merchandising; and Interior Architecture – will be called the College of Creative Arts and Media, effective July 1, 2024.

Melissa Catanese, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based visual artist and author who expands the meaning of photographs, will give a visiting artist lecture on January 29 at 5 p.m. in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall at the West Virginia University Canady Creative Arts Center (CCAC).

The exhibition is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to showcase their art and possibly win a cash prize.
