“Celebration of Dance” is a student-led performance, where junior and senior Dance majors can choreograph their own pieces and manage the casting and rehearsals. The performances are typically held in late October or early November in the Antoinette E. Falbo Theatre in the WVU Canady Creative Arts Center. Guest adjudicators judge and rank the student-choreographed pieces and provide input to the WVU Dance faculty, who select five to 10 to be performed as part of “Dance Now!” in February.

The WVU School of Theatre and Dance presents “Amour,” a lighthearted musical, at the Gladys G. Davis Theatre at the WVU Canady Creative Arts Center Nov. 20-21 and Dec. 3-6 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for senior citizens and $10 each for groups of ten or more. Celebrating its 65th anniversary, the world’s most influential name in comedy, The Second City, is coming to the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts and Media (CCAM) October 1 at 7:30 p.m. with their new show, “Laugh Harder, Not Smarter.”
