    Gregory Witt

    Employing materials and processes from carpentry, robotics, and video, Witt builds unlikely and often absurd versions of familiar objects and ideas.

    Richard Rezac

    Using aluminum, bronze, plaster, and wood Rezac incorporates contrasting materials and forms with a single object.

  4. October 25

    Martin Mazorra

    Martin Mazorra co-founded Cannonball Press with Michael Houston in 1999 as an alternative press, publishing both their own prints and those of emerging artists.

  5. November 8

    Andrew Shea

    Author of "Designing for Social Change," Shea is a graphic designer, writer, and educator based in New York City.

Spring 2013

  1. January 17

    Robert "Boomer" Moore

    A process oriented artist who enjoys diversity in both materials and fabrication methods, Boomer balances his passion for clay and ceramics processes and his fascination with toys and animation.

  2. February 7

    Dr. Beth Mulvaney

    J. Bernard Schultz Endowed Lecture in Art History


    A specialist in Italian late-medieval and early Renaissance art. Mulvaney's current scholarly work focuses on Santa Maria dei Miracoli in Venice, Duccio, Giotto, and cycle of St. Francis, particularly those at San Francesco, Assisi.

    Mel Chin

    Deem Distinguished Lecture


    Chin insinuates art into unlikely places, including destroyed homes, toxic landfills and even popular television. She investigates how art can provoke greater social awareness and responsibility.

    Zhang Youxian

    An artist who specializes in Chinese figure, landscape, and flower and bird painting, Zhang has been recognized as one of the most famous contemporary Chinese painting masters.
