The instrumentation offered in this class will be flexible, and assignments will be madebased on registered students and repertoire availability. We can explore any variety ofpercussion instruments catered to registered students’ interests.

Attendance Policy

A chamber group is not able to function properly without all its members! You are kindly requested to attend all scheduled rehearsals 10 to 15 minutes earlier to be ready to rehearse (instrument’s set up) by the start of the class. If you are unable to attend rehearsal for any reason, please notify the instructor at least 24 hours in advance so that a make-up rehearsal can be scheduled as possible. Repertoire Percussion ensemble performers should expect to work on 1-2 pieces in a semester with the possibility for more as time allows. Repertoire will be chosen by the instructor in collaboration with the musicians of the group. Jake offers students the opportunity to learn music from both classic percussion ensemble repertoire, and contemporary works
