Andrew Kohn, Professor of Bass
West Virginia University Bass students participate in a wide range of musical activities that go well beyond weekly lessons. They play in ensembles ranging from jazz to bluegrass to concert band to orchestra, and have even served a drum majors for The Pride of West Virginia. Grads don't just play classical bass; they have gone on to run sound in clubs, play musical theatre, teach in schools, fund-raise for non-profits, and play all manner of popular musical styles.
