The Myers Foundations Faculty Distinguished Research Awards fund outstanding research activities by School of Art and Design Faculty.
Eligibility: All full-time School of Art and Design faculty with continuing appointments (including full-time lecturers). Adjunct faculty are not eligible.
Award Amount: $2,500

Fall Semester - Funded faculty are required to deliver a public presentation on their project to students and colleagues, scheduled by the Director
Guidelines
The Myers Foundations Faculty Distinguished Research Award rewards outstanding research activity proposed by School of Art & Design faculty related to their teaching position.
- Awards are selected annually through a competitive process that includes peer-evaluation by an external panel of experts.
- Award winners may apply for continued funding the following year for on-going research activity that extends beyond one year.
- Travel expenses are not covered by the Myers Foundations.
- Awards are distributed through WVU payroll and taxes are withheld.
Faculty will work with the CCA Business Office to schedule payments.
