Juried Student Exhibition

This exhibition is open to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in School of Art and Design majors and minors.

The Juried Student Exhibition is an annual exhibition opportunity open to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in School of Art & Design majors and minors. Judging is a multi-tiered process that starts with a committee of outside jurors and School of Art & Design faculty who select the pieces to be included in the show. More than $5000 will be awarded with a Best in Show award of $700.

Submission Guidelines

If you fail to follow Application Guidelines your work will not be considered for the exhibition.

  • Only two pieces permitted per student. Submit a separate application for each entry.
  • Original artwork in any media completed within the last two years is eligible.
  • Images must be in jpeg format. Label images as follows: Lastname_1.jpeg, Lastname_1Detail.jpeg
  • Video Artists should submit a MP4 movie sample no longer than 1 minute.
  • Accepted artwork must be suitable for formal gallery presentation. 2-D works should be ready to hang, 3-D works should be stable.
  • Please consult with your area Faculty about properly documenting your work.

  • Exhibition: December 5, 2024 - February 28, 2025, Laura Mesaros Gallery
  • Deadline for Submissions: October 11 (Friday)
  • Accepted Artist Notification: Nov 6 (Wednesday)
  • Artwork Drop-off: November 18 10:00am-2:00pm ---- November 19, 10:00am – 2pm
  • Install: December 2-4
  • Reception: Thursday, January 23, 5 PM: CCAC Lobby​
